In my debut feature film, "Footprints On Water," I had the honour of working with an incredible ensemble cast, including Adil Hussain, Nimisha Sajayan, Lenaa Kumar, and Antonio Aakeel. The film has now travelled to a total of twenty International Film Festivals in over ten countries and five continents, receiving fifteen awards for Best Feature, Director, Actor, and more. Seeing the film connect with audiences and travel to various festivals worldwide this year has been heartwarming.

Additionally, I'm honoured to be a Film Practitioner at a Film School in London, where I get to guide aspiring filmmakers in their creative pursuits. As a practitioner, I have had the opportunity to lead the BFI Film Academy for Resource Productions and the Kick Starter Programme, which trains unemployed adults to work in the film industry. I have also been involved in various similar projects that teach individuals to take their scripts from ideation stages to the screen.

My journey in the film industry extends beyond directing; I've also worked as an associate director and 1st AD, earning broadcast credits for my previous short films and commercials. One of my previous short films, "Lehenga," was nominated for the 'Best of British' award at the BAFTA and qualified for the 'Iris Prize' Award in Cardiff, a moment that holds a special place in my heart.

As a filmmaker, I'm driven by a deep interest in creating stories that showcase diverse characters and explore thought-provoking themes from various cultures and social backgrounds. I believe that through cinema, audiences can experience the essence of different worlds and gain a deeper understanding of the human experience.
